There are 02 objective type written test: - a) Paper I b) Paper II

Question Paper I: 

The paper 1 held in morning session, it consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) 01 marks for each.  Total duration is 120 minutes.  It is divided into 05 parts:-

1) English (20 questions) Total – 20 marks          

2) Hindi (20 questions) Total – 20 marks

3) Mental Ability (20 questions) Total – 20 marks

4) General Awareness

5) Teaching Aptitude (20 questions) Total – 20 marks

> Evaluation systems.

Question Paper II: 

The paper 2 held in evening shift, it is divided into 04 parts of 25 marks each and 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).  These are as follows:-

1) Science (25 questions) Total – 25 marks          

2) Social Studies (25 questions) Total – 25 marks

3) Mathematics (25 questions) Total – 25 marks

4) Punjabi (25 questions) Total – 25 marks

Time Duration- 02 hours

Total Marks- 100
Medium of Written Test is English

Minimum qualifying marks is 40% for SC category and 45% for other candidates.  There is no negative marking and no Interview.
