Labour Department has instructed private enterprises to announce paid holiday.  State KARNATAKA ZILLA AND TALUK PANCHAYAT GENERAL ELECTION - 2016 The phase 1 panchayati zilla taluk polls were took on 13 Feb 2016 & phase 2 election voting successfully contested on 20.02.2016 (till 05.00 pm).  There are total 5844 gram panchayats out of 6073 in which polls are going to take place for 30 districts of Karnataka for zilla panch, pardhan and sarpanch members voting. In remaining 229 gram panchayats term expires in August 2015 and elections will done after up gradation of stay orders of Hon’ble High Court.  The poll timings are 07.00 am to 05.00 pm and it is our advice to all please vote.
