Question: Why Colleges Shift Towards Cities?

Answer: This is common question comes in mind as any top university in India would like to have their base in cities where the university can target most of their students and companies. They prefer to recruit students who are easy without having to travel to outskirts of the city. Now we don’t see such top engineering colleges in Hyderabad, amity university ,lpu university, Adamas University (WB), NIT’S and many universities in India preferring to have their colleges in city as there is lack of area to set up such huge Universities. The only way they can maximize their universities capacity is either increasing the vertical structure of building but still, we see some private colleges with large buildings and very little space for them to expand.

Reasons:

Now colleges prefer to shift their base in outskirts of the city but the only problem is students prefer to stay in the city because their reach for requirements becomes easy. Their transportation and many other factors contribute to the liking of students opting to stay in cities. But at this cos, the present colleges and universities fail to provide its students outdoor activities, the sound environment outside the cities so that students can listen and hear the lecture without any external disturbance. We see some universities fail to provide students with extracurricular facilities.
So, what would be the future of the universities for the country like India where no of people pursuing education is increasing and there is a huge demand from the public to set up universities.  They, without any much hesitation affiliations and grants from universities or colleges. There are around 3500 colleges/universities of under graduation but most of them fail to give their students its basic amenities. So, what other alternatives can the University or government make only time would give its answer. The way education is taught is by changing “education on Internet".  It is changing how people pursue their degree/college as it becomes more convenient for people. They don’t have to travel far distance each day in the busy traffic in the convenience of time and have much more attractive rather than boring vocal of the teacher.
This system is very helpful for backup courses or extra courses which are required along with major course to stand out from the crowd and specialization. Some of them offering on online are “BYJUS, TIMES, COURSE ERA”. But how well this Education on internet penetrating the market of conventional education? Should the younger children be also taught in a similar way? Will this method be more effective when compared to an age-old system of education? We have already witnessed some changes that have been done already with interactive sessions online with a person sitting faraway places giving his video presentation to students living in a remote area.
So, we can conclude that for the growing population and the various problems which individual face during going to college in cities. Online education is far better but to what extent, this only time can tell.

But now a days there is great development in villages also. According to us it will take time and many years.
